Dr Chee Yeen Fung
Chair of Board

National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow at Health Education England (HEE) 2019/20, GP.
Board Member since 2021.
Chee Yeen has been involved in medical education since she was a student. Her interests include widening participation, and curriculum and assessment development. Chee Yeen is the founder of the widening participation “Dr. Me Project“, teaching self-care in primary schools, for which she was awarded the RCGP Speciality Trainee Award and ASME New Leaders Award. Outside of work, Chee Yeen volunteers regularly on the Audio-Visuals team at her church.

Dr Ryan Grocock

Chief Dental Officer’s Clinical Fellow at Health Education England (HEE) 2019/20, Community Dental Officer.
Board Member since 2021.
Ryan is currently working at HEE on the Policy and Regulation Team. The focus of his work is on a review of dental education and training pathways. Ryan’s professional interests include public health, widening participation and evidence based dentistry. Ryan also works clinically as a community Dental Officer at Whittington Health NHS trust. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys travel and walks with his dog.

Ms Roshni Maisuria

Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellow at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) 2019/20, Pharmacist.
Board Member since 2021.
Roshni takes an eager interest in student development and education, and believes in the importance of encouraging students to realise their leadership skills early. Roshni actively supports the NICE Student Champion Scheme initiative by delivering training and workshops to multi-professional undergraduate students. Currently, she is involved in wide-work streams at NICE and collaborating with other national arms-length bodies.

Ms Sarah Cahill

Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellow at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) 2019/20, Hospital Pharmacist.
Board Member since 2021.
Sarah is passionate about education and training and has completed her Statement of Teaching Proficiency (STP) certificate from King’s Health Partners. She has been both a pre-registration and diploma tutor for junior pharmacists. She also works as a teacher practitioner at University College London with pharmacy undergraduate students. Sarah enjoys travelling and running in her spare time.

Dr Emma Tonner

National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow at the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) 2022/23, Post-Foundation Doctor.
Board Member since 2023.
Emma was the National Medical Director’s fellow at the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR), focused on integrating research into primary care via the NIHR primary care strategy and related projects. Her fellowship role followed three years of post-foundation doctor training since medical school graduation, aligning with her primary care background and forthcoming career pursuits. Emma was the ESLIH Committee Chair 2022/23.

Dr Elisa Lewington-Gower

National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow at the GMC 2023/24, Respiratory Registrar.
Board Member since 2024.
Elisa is a Respiratory Registrar and current National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow working at the General Medical Council. She has a passion for medical leadership and education and is looking forward to working with ESLIH to empower the medical leaders of the future. Elisa was the ESLIH Committee Chair 2023/24.
